MY STOREY
My midwifery journey started by being the daughter of a midwife, from witnessing my first birth at age 5. Caring for women and their families outside of the hospital has always been a very normal event in my household, a tradition I continue with my eager 5-year-old daughter who loves talking about all things birth.
Two Decades of Midwifery Mastery
At 17 I started my more formal integration into the birthing realm, when I took an advanced Midwifery assistant course through the Association of Childbirth at Home International, led by the midwife who caught me. Following the course, I began my midwifery apprenticeship and enrolled at the National Midwifery Institute.
Over the last 20 years, I have had the privilege to share in over 2000 out-of-hospital births working alongside many midwives, at home, and in local birth centers in the Los Angeles and Las Vegas area. I am honored to continue to serve my community as a California-licensed midwife while integrating my ancestral knowledge of traditional midwifery and healing.
